While he acknowledges his status as a “one hit wonder,” there’s more to Walter Egan than meets the ear.

Our conversation covers many topics, including the Canadian group whose 1957 hit became an inspiration for the musical feel of Magnet and Steel. He also reminisces about two musical power couples he was fortunate to work with in the 1970’s. Before his work with Buckingham-Nicks on his first two albums, he also worked with Gram Parsons and Emmylou Harris in the early 1970’s, Plus, he was sampled by Eminem in on the song We Made You (2009).
