From My Archives: 2010 Sit Down with Canadian Singer Keith Hampshire

This week, I remember the time Keith Hampshire was my guest on Oldies Without Borders for a Sit Down.

His unmistakable singing voice was Canadian AM radio gold in the early 1970’s with The First Cut is the Deepest reaching #1 in Canada. Hampshire had two more Top 5 Canadian hits with Daytime, Night Time and Big Time Operator,

He’s had quite the career, not just as a singer, but he’s worked as a commercial voice-over artist, a TV show host and a radio DJ – including a gig at Radio Caroline – a British pirate radio station in the 1960’s.

And he was a very energetic interview. Enjoy!
