Throwback Thursday – Remembering Ken Tobias: A Warrior of Light

I was saddened to hear about the death of Ken Tobias. He passed away due to brain cancer on October 2, 2024 in his hometown of St. John, New Brunswick.

I was honoured to have the chance to talk with Ken on Oldies Without Borders back in 2010. He had just released the album From a Distance.

In this excerpt, we talked about his spirituality and how it is a theme in many of his songs. He also shared stories about Bill Medley of The Righteous Brothers, Corey Hart, Mac Davis and Paul Peterson.

RIP Ken – You are missed.
